Greentube, an online casino games development division of NOVOMATIC Interactive, has further strengthened its foothold in Germany’s newly reorganized gambling market through a recent partnership with locally licensed operator Jokerstar.
The deal will see the supplier provide its new partner with access to its rich library of iGaming content. Greentube’s games will thus become available to an even larger audience in Germany.
The supply agreement covers the provider’s hugely popular online slots Diamond Link: Mighty Emperor, Fruit King, Apollo God of Sun, and Captain Venture: Treasures of the Sea, among other gaming titles.
The games will be distributed to Jokerstar and its players via Pragmatic Solutions’ iGaming content platform.
Jokerstar is the digital gambling brand of major German operator Kling Automaten GmbH. Kling was established in 1954 and is currently managed by a third generation of casino operators. Aside from its online casino brand, the company also runs more than 160 Joker Casino arcades around Germany.
Greentube has secured its expansion in the German market as the country is adapting to its newly enforced gambling law. The State Treaty on Gambling took effect in July to introduce a nationwide regulatory framework for the provision of online casino, poker, and sports betting services.
Following the reorganization of the local iGaming space, Germany is on track to become one of the largest regulated territories in Europe.
Thrilled to Join Kling in Online Expansion
Of their partnership with the German operator, Greentube Key Account Manager Germany Julia Schagerl said that Kling is an operator with great experience in the local space and that they are thrilled to be part of its expansion into the online segment.
Ms. Schagerl went on to note that they see great potential in Germany’s digital market and their strategy is to form partnerships with the country’s leading operators. She added that with Jokerstars they are set to further enhance the reach of their content and “bring premium entertainment to local players.”
Greentube’s own B2C brand StarGames last year applied for a German license and was given regulatory approval to operate in the market after the implementation of the new law.
Commenting on their partnership with the major provider, Jokerstar Casino CEO Jürgen Kling said that they have ambitious plans for their online brand and it is “key that we offer our customers the best available content.”
Mr. Kling continued that Greentube is a leading supplier with titles that are internationally loved and that through this new partnership they will be able to significantly strengthen their offering and further position themselves as a top-tier operator in Germany’s regulated online market.
