Spain- and Malta-based online casino games developer Red Rake Gaming is set to enter Argentina’s regulated iGaming space thanks to a recent partnership with locally licensed operator Betfun.
Betfun is the online gaming and betting brand of Argentinian gambling company Hipódromo de Palermo. The major operator has nearly three decades of experience in Argentina’s gambling space.
The company launched its digital casino and wagering product earlier this year. Betfun is powered by a cutting-edge mobile-focused platform and is licensed by Lotería de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (LOTBA), the gambling regulator of the City of Buenos Aires.
After prolonged discussions that often turned into heated arguments between gambling proponents and opponents, the City of Buenos Aries recently became Argentina’s first region to legalize and regulate online casino-style gaming and wagering.
However, the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has prompted more provinces around the country to either start considering or to move towards regulating digital gambling to make Argentina one of the most exciting developing markets in the Latin American region.
As part of its recent deal with Betfun, Red Rake will provide the operator with access to its top-performing localized games, including record-breaking online slot Super 15 Stars, an action-packed title that incorporates all features and bonus rounds from its predecessors in the supplier’s hit Super series. Red Rake says all of its games in this highly popular series have been received extremely well by players from the region.
The partnership also covers Red Rake releases such as Million 777, a game that offers players a million ways to win, The Asp of Cleopatra, 1st of the Irish, and Secrets of the Temple, among others.
LatAm Expansion
Red Rake said that its agreement with Betfun represents further testament to its commitment to its clients by growing its market exposure and thereby playing an important role in helping its operator partners in delivering their own growth strategies.
This new partnership is also set to help Red Rake further expand its presence in the lucrative Latin American region. Argentina is the latest LatAm market the studio is set to launch its content into, following its debut in Colombia last year.
Commenting on their latest big news, Red Rake Malta Managing Director Nick Barr said that they are thrilled to join Betfun as it enters Argentina’s regulated iGaming space. He further noted that their content has always had a strong following in the region and that they have witnessed a particularly strong growth over the past year.
Hipódromo de Palermo General Manager Fernando Facal added that they are focused on incorporating new games with “a high level of technology and design” to enhance their offering and make the experience they provide their players with even more entertaining. He also noted that their customers are “very enthusiastic” about the newly added games from Red Rake Gaming.
